anyone watch 20/20 on friday-disturbing!

forgive me if this has been mentioned...
but...did anyone see the story about the man who some how developed disassociative amnesia after his wedding?! he didn't know his wife ...nor did he have any memory of their life together...
yikes!!

YES! It was so upsetting!
They assumed it had something to do with the trauma of his friend being in a near-fatal car accident around the time of his wedding as well as the stress of the wedding itself.
The husband and wife were at the airport waiting for their plane to go on their honeymoon and he went back to his car to get his wallet and never came back.
They found him wandering aimlessly a few days later...He didnt' know who he was or anything. It was freaking weird!
Then after about a year his memories starting coming back to him.
His wife stood by his side. Awww

You know what I said? I said he had cold feet but went ahead with the wedding and it was his plan all along to test if she would stand by him for real. When I watched it, I was thinking I wonder if he was for real. Good woman there I tell ya I guess she passed the test in sickness and in health.

Yes, Shamma, I agree. I can't believe something like that could happen. Made me wonder a bit if he was 'faking'
