LOVE Globrtrekker! They drop a traveler in some country and follow them around while they sightsee. This isn't luxurious traveling- its more back pack style. FH likes it too, but it makes him crazy when every week my 'places to see' list gets longer and longer.

Ooohhh! Is Globetrekker hiring? I would SO eat bugs and weird crap to travel like that! I just wish it was on more regularly- I hunt for it on the weekends. And why isn't their Tahiti show on DVD??!?!

No, I can't remember the last one I saw. It's been a while. I always catch it when it reruns. At least now I know it is on Tuesdays at ten. Thanks!

I LOVE this show too! A couple years ago, it used to be called Lonely Planet and was shown on the travel channel. And now it's renamed and shown on PBS. But same hosts, format, etc. But you can tell they were made for a tv network with commercials because the episodes always end early and have a little filler at the end to round out the hour.
