Do you think they died or that they chose to stay on the island?

I thought I remember last season, in one of those flashback or flashforward scenes, Jack (looking sloppy and disheveled) talking to Kate and saying they need to go back to the island and get the others.....

yes i think they're alive, and that they stayed on the island. funny you mention that scene because i was thinking about how she said she had to go 'he's going to wonder where i am', gave me a feeling it was someone older like Sawyer or Ben, but now i think it was just her son Aaron.

i love this show. ample opportunity to over analyze things!

I think Aaron is Claire's baby and that's why Jack doesn't want to see him cause it's part of the whole cover up. Also, Kate drives me crazy sometimes. Why would she let Miles out and see Ben just to find out what he knows about her? When Oceanic crashed, I'm sure that the news did a story and mentioned there was a felon onboard. It's like when she staged the bank robbery just to get that toy plane-- selfish and stupid.

I can'timagine Claire letting Kate take the baby!!! So Claire is either dead or Kate stole the baby! Looks like she came back to money!!! Did you see her house?!?!?

I think they could only take a certain amount of people off the island and for whatever reason they left the rest on the island. Lock and Sawyer want to stay but Claire doesn't. WHy would she want to stay on the island with her newborn? I got chills when Kate said Aaron!!

jack said at the trial 8 people survived the crash and that's the story they came back with. Something obviously happened for them to want to forget about the rest of the people.

B: Remember in a past season that Claire is Jack's half sister! Remember? she had black hair and stuff and Jacks dad came to visit her? So maybe Jack doesn't want to see the baby cause it's his nephew???
I don't think they are dead remember the finale of last season Jack was a mess and said that they had to go back what they did wasn't right. so I think they left others behind.

whoa- i forgot about the sibling connection! but yeah, maybe they had to lie to everyone about how many survived in order to protect them on the island. for some reason, Sayid & Ben's conversation went to foreshadow something about protecting them, when Ben was stitching up Sayid in a flash forward.

Ben appears to be 'one of the good guys' after all. I think Sied is is trying to kill Naomis boss, we dont yet know who they are though.
