Anyone watch 'The Party Planner with David Tutera'?????
OK ladies.. I need your help!!!!
Right now, as we speak, I am in the midst of finalizing plans to be a part of 'The Party Planner with David Tutera' show.....I had sent in an email to be considered for the show on TUESDAY of this week.. The producer called me the NEXT MORNING saying they would love to have us!
We are having some date issues (between our hall not being available, and the show already having episodes to tape on certain days..etc) So I need some positive thoughts sent my way because this stuff never ever happens to me! I am still in shock!
This party would be a surprise for my FH, who really wants an engagement party. It would be a Surprise Engagement Party, but after we got in the room, I would let him know I was the one who organized it for him and us. I know, it's a crazy idea, but they loved it!
Let me know your thoughts... Am I crazy to do this??? Does anyone love the show???Thanks!!!!

MOH here to the rescue...here is an option...Just do a fairy tale engagement party...Lots of PINK!
FAIRY TALE
There probably won't be a day when you feel more like a princess than your wedding day. To bring the fantasy of a fairy tale wedding to life, it doesn't take a castle or a white horse, just a little attention to the details. It's not necessary to wear a huge puffy gown (unless you want to). Choose a dress with cap sleeves, a corset, or elaborate beading to give it the princess look. For decorations, garlands of pink roses, and gold ribbon. And place large glass bowls of water with floating candles or flowers on tables for the centerpieces. Instead of round tables, go for long banquet tables. Serve wine in large studded goblets. Use a castle or horse-drawn carriage as a motif for invitations, programs, and favors. For the first dance, perform a classic waltz that you have practiced to perfection.

Ok. lets think about this.. Brian waltzing... Do you know of anyone who makes steel-tipped dancing shoes? JK
I really want the party to be focused around him and his likes.. I think pink might be out, since he is a boy. And if he did love pink, I might have to rethink the engagement! JK again. I would like the fairytale thing, but it might be too feminine. I almost want a 'Manly Romantic' feel... clean, classy, elegant but not frilly. I dont know.. so many ideas I have, my brain hurts. And being that they moved up the party, they haven't left me much brainstorming time!
