Has anyone imagined where their wedding receptions would be prior to getting engaged?

yep...I wanted a location with 1 wedding at a time, on the water. I ended up with Crest Hollow (max 3 weddings at a time, in woodbury...no where near the water)
I still love it though, just not what I started out searching for

I always secretly knew I was going to get married at Russo's. They always get the job done, and I don't want to have to worry that day. We DID go visit and fall in love with a lot of places, but I knew where we'd end up. Once FH had those complimentary rainbow cookies in the banquet room, it was a done deal.

I always imagined my wedding to be small - just immediate family - with a ceremony on the beach and a small party after. Instead I'm getting married in a church and having my reception at Crest Hollow with a guarentee of atleast 175 people!!! My FH and FIL's didn't like my original idea. Oh well!

I imagined getting married at Raphael Vineyard...but unfortunately I didn't win the lotto before my planning started lol
