What does the current couple do for a living? Just curious 'cus the couple live in a small apartment with a tiny kitchen in NYC yet they are having a platinum wedding and spending 50K on bridal jewelry alone.

the bride is a biochemist, and the groom Doug, is a commodity trade advisor. they met 2 years ago at some street fair, and now their getting married. their budget for the wedding was 300k

i belive their were 2 episodes one at 8 and one at 8:30 the other couple Maxie and Kevin who got married in New York, not much information is known or given about their backgroud [career wise]. But they did have 130 guest and spend more than half a million dollars, they spend 600k on their wedding.

Location location location!!
Living in NYC is DAMN expensive! Especially if they are in Manhattan. My girlfriend recently sold her apartment in Manhattan and made more money on that tiny little 2 bdrm then I spend on my 4 bedroom HOUSE.
Enough to make a girl sick...

They had a nice venue for their reception. I would not want to parade around the streets with my guests. I'd be so embarrassed. I loved the ferris wheel idea.
