Has anyone used or worn any Jim Hjelm dress as a bridesmaid dress? I love how they look on the model but am wondering if they are flattering for any other body shapes... Can anyone post pics? Thanks!

Used them for my bridesmaids and they all looked gorgeous- from the size 2 to the size 20 BM they really all looked great!!

I tried on severa for ym best riends wedding and honestly if you are not waif thin, most of them look AWFUL just like the Alvina Valentas. I have junk in my trunk and didnt think they were worth it for the average girl. I LOVE Bill Levkoff dresses-comparable in price and the fabrics are just great quality and have weight to them because they were the only chiffon dresses we tried that made all of us latinas look slim and proportionate. Cant same the same about Jim or Alvina.

Really Jenn? All my girls have body to them (ex.: one has big boobs, one has a BIGGG J-lo booty) and the Jim Hjelm dresses they are wearing look so pretty on all of them.
I'd say just go and have them try on different dresses and see what you like. There were a WHOLE bunch of dresses that I had picked out for my girls to try on and most of them looked horrid on them. So just try on lots and lots and then decide. GL!

i found those that were A line to be flattering on any body type... my girls were different sizes and they loved the dress..

i just went with one of my bridesmaids tonight to try on some jim hjelm tea length dresses. i think there are enough variety of dresses to please all if not most body types. plenty of a-line dresses, halter tops, strapless, spaghetti straps, etc. and my bm is bigger than the sample size and she still looked great in many of the dresses. you really can't tell until you try it on.
