Anyone wearing fur?

please post pics of your fur and dress....

this cold weather is making me almost positive that i should get some type of fur wrap to wear with my dress the day of the wedding.....

if you are getting an ivory dress what color fur do you get? are there different colors of white fur? because i feel like super white fur would look funny with an ivory dress

i dont know about this stuff so that is why im asking! thanks girls!

i dont even know where to look for a fur wrap....i rather get fake fur and i dont want to spend a lot on one b/c im never going to wear it again but i dont want it to look cheapy......

to each their own, however, a nice stole is a great piece of clothing to own. In my opinion it is so classy to wear it to any fancy event during the cold months and never goes out of style. JMO

I wanted real fur.
Mine is fox and I got a great price on it!

i forget who it was, but someone had posted fake furs from www.wed-shop.com and they have nice stuff. i really like a couple of them, but they ship from Poland, so i'm a little iffy on ordering from there. there's also a website, www.furreplicas.com that lets you rent them. i would just like to see it before i order it, and so far no luck finding them in stores

you are right about them never going out of style....it just that i dont go anywhere that fancy that often

i guess i should keep my eyes peeled....this is something id def like to be able to try on before purchasing....ill probably have to get a kiddie one because my arms are so short and my shoulders arent that wide

you are right about them never going out of style....it just that i dont go anywhere that fancy that often

I got mine on ebay! I went with a capelet since there aren't definite shoulder and arm measurements....since i'm kind of small too.

I got mine off there and its i believe faux mink but seriously is sooo soft, and it has satin lining, I loove it! And they have white, ivory, brown all colors!

My mom told me shes going to give me her Aunt's mink stole to wear on my wedding day. Her aunt gave it to her before she passed away 20 something years ago, so I thought it was sweet of her to offer.
Im def. going to look into getting my BMs something similar to it as well.

About a week before my sister-in-law's wedding, she received a package from some relatives in Greece who couldn't make it to the wedding...inside was a white fox stole (wrap), with her new initials embroidered on the inside in gold thread!

On her wedding day (Oct 20) it was actually quite warm, so she barely used it, and it's been sitting in her closet for the past 5 years. When I set the date for my wedding for next November, she immediately said i could borrow her fur stole! I don't have photos, but I'll try to get some...just wanted to share!
