Anyone wearing 'simple' day of Jewelry?? -added pic finally!!
Attached is a pic of the jewelry I was probably going to wear on the day of -- the necklace was given to me by FH on our first christmas together and I NEVER take it off.. his mother gave me the earrings - I am a very simple jewelry person and don't wear alot usually. But I see alot of girls wearing hanging chandelier earrings and beautiful necklaces and wonder if maybe my jewelry will be too simple for the day of?? Any input would be great. Oh and that headpiece was borrowed from the hairstylist..i wont be using something that big and bright.. what I will wear will be more like a headband.
The pic is too big i will try to resize and attach.
Thank you ladies for your advice.. i am definitely sticking with my originally planned jewelry.. it's ME & it has meaning to me! I also forgot ill be wearing a tiny hearts white gold anklet that FH gave me last christmas..
I don't see anything wrong with wearing what 'you' like. It seems to me that the jewelry has sentimental value to you and I would honestly wear it.

Thanks. When I get home i will post the pics so you can see what I mean... I just feel like it doesn't stand out enough but maybe when I have everything cleaned I will 'bling' more!

I wore diamond stud earrings that my parents had given to me a few years ago.
I wore a diamond heart necklace that my DH had given to me.

I'm borrowing jewelry from our jeweler. I feel like it's your one day to look super glamorous so I'm going all out. JMO. I guess it would really depend upon the type of affair you're having and the sort of gown you're wearing. If your dress is simple and understated then your jewelry should match. But if it's a super elegant and/or ornate gown, then again, your jewelry should match that too. HTH!!

im only wearing earrings and my e-ring/wedding band
i dont think u have to be super fancy/blingy. sometimes a simple clean look works and doesnt take away from your dress/veil/hair/etc.
for my necklace i wore a single pearl with a single diamond (it was a dift from dh for one of my bdays) and my earrings were a bit fancier but not super big and blingy. i did wear a bracelet though...again i thought it was more simple than blingy.

I think the jewelry is fine. I think that it is great to wear the necklace because it has sentimental meaning.

I like simple...from the picture, I think it looks perfect. Focus is going to be on YOU and your dress...so simple jewelery complements it and doesn't overpower in my opin.

I wore diamond studs and no necklace...I didnt want it to be about the jewelry - more about the dress and it worked for me...you need to wear what you are comfortable with!

do whatever you like. I did wear HUGE earrings but my hair was also worn all down so when i tried on other earrings they wouldnt even show so was pointless. So remember that when you see others pics. I went for the big look so they can be seen. Didnt do a necklace at all bc top of dress had enough detail and thought it'd be too much. Then just wore a bracelet

I had drop pearl earrings...just one pearl on each, NO necklace, and a simple one strand pearl bracelet that FH gave me one anniversary. it was VERY simple, but to me, simple is elegant.
wear what looks best on you! you need to feel comfortable and beautiful...not overdone!!

I was having this issue too. i was thinking of wearing a neckalce that i got from FH as a gift for my bday a few years ago. i don't wear it all the time, just special occasions. it's a diamond heart necklace- it kinda looks like a floating heart. I wasn't sure if it's too simple or do i want something more? decissions decissions....
