Anyone who has an email with their last name at work....UPDATED ON BOTTOM!

If I change my name for the payroll at work (I work at North Shore-LIJ) am I going to have to change my email to, if it has my last name?

If so, is there any way you can refuse? EVERY one contacts me via email, and I will lose a lot of contacts if my email changes....

I spoke to the woman in my office - turns out they will not change my email address even if my name is changed in payroll - turns out it is such a huge procedure, they don't do it...

Phew!!!
