Is the area by southern state ok it by belmont Ave???????? Please tell me the truth we don't wanna move to a $hit area!!!!!!!!

I had a friend that lived over there, I think its a good area. IMO, it borders a semi-almost-questionable area...just my opinion

Where off Belmont are you looking? South of Southern State is where I grew up (on Chelsea Ave.). It's a quiet, residential area. North of Southern St. is not as nice...but it's not like it's the ghetto.
eta: North Bab gets a bad rap & it's annoying...there are great & not so great areas, like most towns on LI.

MY MOH lived off belmont south of the southern state and I was a very nice area. She lived there right after getting married for about 2 years.

That's where FMIL and FFIL live. It's a really nice area over there. Just make sure the school district is North Babylon and not Wyandanch. I don't know why NB gets such a bad rep, as long as you're in NB schools and not Wyandanch schools, you're fine! It's a very nice town!!!
