I never really suffered from allergies before but this spring has been awful...I have a constant scratchy/sore throat and cough. None of the allergy medicines help either.

I am sick of my allergies!!! It is awful, I wake up feeling congested and awful every morning!

This was my 1st year ever getting allergies. I had 3 sinus infections this year already caused by allergies so my doctor put me on Allegra. It made me have insomnia so I take Benadryl for allergy and sinuses. It works good when I get a sinus headache or itchy eyes.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!! My allergies have been SO bad this season! The headaches....I agree that it is hard to find medication that works, they either make you stay up for days or sleep for days! UGH! (my body is very sensitive to medication)!

I don't have seasonal but I am deathly allergic to all types of nuts! It sucks seeing someone eat a snickers or brownie with walnuts or even chicken that could have been made in peanut oil and knowing that you are so allergic you could die.
My last bad attack was in 2001 when my heart stopped :(
I take Claritain daily and have an epipen and benadryl that I can give myself in a syringe if I need too!

I have had allergies for over a week (I usually get them this time of year) and they are just starting to feel better thanks to all that rain today. I get them in October too. I get a dry throat, runny and stuffy nose.

OMG that is so scary! What did you eat?
I didn't know I was allergic to them but I never liked nuts anyway, probably because my body new I was allergic and the smell even as a little kid just bothered me. So I was in Penn station getting ready to commute back home to bethpage and I got a Mango Smoothie from the Smoothie King and it must have had walnut traces in it because when I got home to my parents house my face had blown up about 5x the size, my lips were white and I couldn't breathe luckily my parents lived across the street from Mid Island Hospital so they got me there fast because I was in apahlaxtic shock they got me there at the last possible second (I had no clue what was going on and it started slow and then picked up, I felt like crap on the train but I didn't know my appearance was changing)
