Anyone w/less than a yr to go NOT look at dresses yet?
I just made my one yr mark but Im not running to the bridal shops yet. I feel like I always have something going on outside of the wedding planning. Plus, Im not great at the 'trying on' situation. I get all hot and bothered and then fustrated

I havent started yet. I am not concerned. My sister was engaged one year in July and was married the following January without having to rush a thing in terms of her dress or BM dresses. I'll be fine.

I would advice to get it soon just in case. I know that it gives you plenty of time to get fittings and alterations.

I haven't and I refuse to go.
I have two weddings at the end of June which means every weekend is taken up. I also really want to lose a couple of pounds and I really don't feel like going! Everyone thinks I am nuts but I routinely return anything I buy so I am nervous to get it too soon.
I disagree with dress places that say it takes FOREVER. My friend got engaged in July and got married in February. She got her dress in September and had it before Christmas. This was at RK Bridal.
I'm not concerned in the least. I have started looking online and getting an idea of what I want....I'll see what happens over the next month. I'd like to get other details straightened out first.

Yea, Im not worried....I guess once I do start looking it will be a little more exciting.

I went because I thought it was going to take me FOREVER to find a dress.. but turns out it didn't. I am glad to get it out of the way though. It was fun, but I had enough of it. Don't worry girls, you are fine. Don't wait too long though, you don't want it to become a stressful event, you don't want to feel under pressure.

I'm at the one year mark this week - and I haven't gone yet. My sister is coming into town in late-June, that's when I plan to go.

Me!!! I'm past the 1 year mark and haven't been in a store yet. I just haven't had time...but I hope to go soon.

Don't worry Debbie....I was frightened at first because I didn't want all eyes to be on me... but it was fun and everyone will say how beautiful you look...because you will look beautiful

I went once or twice and HATED it!!! Im going to go again when my mom comes up from Fla for our engagement party... im hoping that will be the LAST time i go!! I dont know which i dislike more, househunting or wedding dress shopping!!
