Anyone work at a bank or know the answer to this?

Cassidy got some checks made out to her for her Christening, but rather than put it in an account for her we want to put it in an investment.

How can I cash a check that's in her name without her having a bank account?

can you put the money into a cd account

i think as her parent, since she is underage you are allowed to cash her checks...my mom used to cash my brothers checks for him all the time when he was little... before he ever had a bank account...
