I am trying to book my flight but for the longest time it has been $666 and I cant bring myself to purchase them at that price!
Do the ticket prices tend to drop as the date nears??
This is for my HM so I dont really want to wait too long, but at the same time the # 666 freaks me out!!

The prices don't drop as you get closer, like 2 weeks before, they are actually higher. I booked my honeymoon at the end of July and we got an excellent price. You have some time.

You have to keep checking! We kept checking for tickets that were $671 then one night they went down to $450 - the next morning they were back up!

try looking for flights late at night - like around midnight - they often drop the fares then because it's not the high traffic time for booking flights. It often works for me!
