Anyone work for Computer Associates? Lots of lay offs...
My FH's best man just found out he got laid off--they are telling 180 people today that they are let go...So sad, he had been there for 4 years since college graduation...

I think Neepsie (not sure on the spelling of her screen name - she won the office bridezilla contest) said she works there. Hope she is not affected.

my husbands cousin and her husband both work there.. .WE haven't heard anything from them yet

That company started to go downhill years ago. They were one of the early adoptors of outsourcing jobs to India. Major pain in the arse!
I actually bought one of their products for my job earlier in the year. Its not too bad... but again support for it sucks bad.

yikes - i just heard about that last night. I used to work there in the CDC - I wonder how that's going to effect the people who work there...

Do you mind my asking what type of position he held? FI's brother's wife works there and they depend on her salary. We were thinking she may be affected b/c she's in a lower position but she's been there for 6 years.
