Anyone work in a dentist office or know the answer to this ?

I wanted to get those invisalyn (sp?) braces but found out they are like $5000+ so that is a big NO for me right now. I would much rather pay for school than get those haha.

So I was wondering does anyone know how much a normal retainer would cost?? I was thinking I could wear it to bed, the gym after work. You know around the house and hopefully my teeth would shift a little back into place. I was stupid when I was younger and never wore mine so my teeth are shifting a little.

We don't want braces.

I wear a retainer at night and it cost me $350 but some insurances cover it. I lost my other one when I was moving and my new insurance had covered the whole entire cost.
Invisaline (Spelled wrong) is very expensive. Too bad because I would have opted for those as well.

but my teeth are really bad, and crooked with spaces

If you only need minor correcting it will not be 5000 dollars
it goes by how many trays you need

I needed 18 trays
worn for 2 weeks each

If you only need a few trays it will not be that costly
and you pay per month, not all upfront.
So the monthly payments arent bad.

My Ortho is the number 5 invisalign doctor in the world, she is in woodbury and offers free consults

thats good to know. i will have to schedule an appt with my ortho

it's weird because i went about a year ago and he said it starts at $5000 no matter what. So maybe I shouldn't go to him then because if you said it could be cheaper I don't want to get ripped off.
