I'm in Manhattan for work today and I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a place to browse for wedding stuff (shoes, jewelry, anything!!) I'm in midtown - 5th ave and 58th.

Oh and dummy me walks into the GM building not knowing ANYTHING that's going on, and I'm like 'huh, why are there TV cameras everywhere?' LOL

if you don't mind walking, you can head down to the garment district (in the 30s on the west side). they have a lot of shops there that you can go to...rk is around that area too.

not sure whats in your budget.. but hteres always stufff on sale at bloomies saks and bergdorf. i would try there 1st, see whats out there.. maybe youll find a rehearsal dinner dress or a shower dress

Also Henri Bendel on 5th (btwn 54 and 55?) . . . for fun you could also check out Takashimaya, they have amaaaaazing flowers, and they do weddings, that is also on 5th between 54 and 55.
