....about having their period on their wedding day/honeymoon? I am on the pill and I counted my days a year ahead to make sure I am free and clear, but now my FH and I decided to try and get pregnant ASAP after the wedding, which means I have to get off the pill very shortly. (My cycle is sooo irregular without the pills) I'm worried I'll have my pd. during either. Anyone else feeling that way?

I have my period for like 6 minutes a month, but I do get awful cold sores on my mouth when I'm stressed, so I'm afraid that I will have a giant mouth herp on my wedding. Uck. Taht'd jsut ruin everything for me.

FH has the same problem...he was thinking of asking his doctor for Valtrex so he coiuld start the prescription before the wedding, do you think that would work? And yes, I am sooo afraid I will have my period on the wedding day/honeymoon. However, I am on the pill so (although I know it's probably not good to do) I can always 'alter' the date if I have to!

I've tried to take valtrex to prevent it, and I feel like I grow immune to it and I get one anyway! I really dont think theres ANYTHING that keeps those suckers away.

Someone posted a website recently that does the math for you on whether or not you'll have it. Apparently mine will end 3 days before the wedding...

according to that site, i'd be getting it the day i leave to come home. which would be great. except i know that my period loves to mess with me. i'm sure it'll last for the whole month.

Yeah, I'm on the pill...but the last few times I've tried to skip, it didn't work...that whole breakthrough thing. My gyno said we'll figure it out at my next visit.
Petrified!!!!! I had mine for almost every single most important events in my life...sweet 16, prom (both!), every vacation almost..the list goes on! im on loestrin24 right now..and my doctor said that if your due for your period on your wedding to just start the new pack of pills right after you finished the previous pack (i.e. do not take the placebos..just start a new pack)..you will skip your period! so no worries!

talk with your dr about family planning and learn more about your cycle....it may take a few months to get your body on track, but most woman can really only get pregnant one or two days out of the month....you will have to go back to basics to re-learn your body and get it back on cycle.....if you do not have regular periods off the pill it may be an issue when you do go to try and have a baby. talk with your dr about your options and what your plans are as far as having a baby.

I've never done it before but I am on the pill as well and sure I can regulate my cycle. Aunt Flo always comes on time so I can check also. I am just afraid to see if it comes around that time.

Re: Anyone worried
I will actually have it for the wedding but it will end the day after. I don't care at all, I'm just glad it will be gone for the honeymoon, I just don't want to have to deal with it while we're away.
