my dress has a train, but it's one of the shorter trains... anyone else out there with a shorter train?

Re: anyone's dress not have a big train?
My train wasn't very long at all ... b/c we got married at the RH, I didn't see a need for it. The aisle isn't very long there.

Re: anyone's dress not have a big train?
I think mine is really long but it's more on the short side, I think. I am really scared by how big my dress is. The only time I wore a dress anywhere nearly as large was when I played a munchkin in the Wizard of Oz and I wore a hideous hoop skirt. At least I don't have to do a really, really dumb dance in my wedding dress
I'm a little nervous about the length and the size. Luckily my MOH is my sister so she won't mind (so much) helping me hike it up if I need to!

Mines in between. I hated the ones that were too long. Felt too princess like!

I'm not sure what length my train is but it's pretty short, we're adding 12 inches to it and it's still going to be short. my dress is A-line with pickups though so I think it would look funny with a really long train

Re: anyone's dress not have a big train?
Since my mother is making my dress, it has a long train, but it is removeable so I can take it off and I don't have to drag it around all night or deal with a bustle.

Re: anyone's dress not have a big train?
mine is really short -- its called a 'sweep train'. I love it! I never really cared too much about the train when I was trying on dresses, I was looking at them all from the front more than from the back, and I fell in love with mine, and then realized it had such a short train, and then fell in love with that! I'm short and bottom-heavy, so I didn't want too much to be bustled!
