Oooo thats actually really easy that you guys can do yourselves. Especially with all those cool ones that almost interlock from the home stores.
If your going bigger you may need a wet saw though to cut to fit. I dont know how handy FH is but you can rent one from the local tool supply store...I promise you its easier than it sounds.

its small tiles on a mat..... FH is pretty handy this is the only thing he doesnt want to do himself... he wants it done right LOL Thanks though!!!!

agh we are doing those little tiles too for the backsplash! we've yet to do them. DH did lay the tile in our entrance and did a great job so he's going to tackle the backsplash.

How come 'tile layer' sounds dirty to me?

Sorry I am of no help! FH did ours himself too but only as a side project....he can really lay that tile....
