my FH has always hated myspace. he thinks it's stupid and he doesn't like that i have friends on there from WAAAAAAAAAY back in the day who he doesn't know. he told me it bothered him a LONG time ago but i forgot about it and then the other night he mentioned it again and i felt really bad b/c i didn't realize it bothered him so much and has been bothering him for so long.
but i love myspace. i will admitt it, i LOVE that i can showcase my personality in a profile for my friends to see. i love that i can write blogs and leave comments for my friends. i just really like it, i think it's fun! and it's not like i don't include him...i have a section of pictures just of me and him. i have a wedding countdown. there are pics of him all over my slideshow. his name appears several times in any bulletin i write. and he is of course my #1 friend.
but still, he is a myspace hater. he said he doesn't want his account anymore and he wants me to cancel mine too.
anyone else have a problem like this? or is he a weirdo??

No....FH could care less that I have it. I mean especially since he asked me to make him an account haha
We dont have a joint on just because I like my page to look pretty haha But I made his all nice!
But he loves it especially now since he is in Japan he is able to keep in contact with those people who he normally doesnt call but cares about how he is doing- and htey dont always have to ask me and then me tell him they were wondering about him- they can just contact him on myspace haha
but my page i admit is more gushing about him and his page = well he does mention me and getting married to the love of his life when he returns-- but he likes to still have some pics of his fav actresses haha!!
I kno, FH has a bunch of actresses...he's so cute he thinks they could actually be them.
One of my friends said to me, aren't you 'threatened'. Why would I be? He can have his crushes and I can have mine (tho i don't have any of myspace).
Plus I know his PW so i'd be the first to know if he was up to no good. LOL.

He would never! He knows I use it for my music. I dont know if he would have a problem with it if I didnt use it for that. He has one too!

No. and if he did we'd have serious problems. Not bc I'm addicted to it or anything, but because to me that just shows a lack of trust and respect.
I'm not trying to sound bitchy or snarky or anything, I just feel like if you trust the person you are with, you wouldnt ask them to do something like that.
FH and I both have myspace accounts. He knows that i have guys on my friends list...heck even on my :gasp: top 8 that i used to be really close with. He also knows that I'm not sleeping with any of them nor do i have any intrest in doing so.

Fh wishes he had a myspace account. i told him as soon as we live together he can have one.
Honestly at 28 I am barely using it. I was a member since its first year and met up with some great friends that i had lost contact with. I like I can find out shows on teh bulletins and find out about friends events other then that i could care less about it.
I dont' see a big issue with anyone using this once they are married its really not a dating service. Its a networking device.

FH wound never ask me to get rid of it, but he's not into the whole thing. Hes not a big 'computers' person to begin with, he'd rather go wash and detail his car and do something outside.
Yeah my FH says the same thing. he thinks the computer takes too much time and still nothing gets done. plus he could care less what my friends are doing. i luv it. i found friends and family that i haven't spoken to in years on there or friends/family who live in other states/countries and it's the best way to stay in touch, share pics, share news etc.
