Mine is. I've never heard of such a thing, but my FMIL wants to do it, and that's fine with me. FH is so easy going, he'll do whatever makes her happy !! He even let her pick their song.

My DH's wanted to walk down the aisle with his Mom and have his Dad follow. I thought it was sweet.

i'm asking FH to walk his mom down the aisle.
FH's parents are divorced. his dad is the demanding needy type and his mom has just been wonderful and a really easy going person. everyone has been busy catering to FFIL's needs, and i think FMIL deserves some recognition.

Well my FI's mom is no longer with us, so his daughter is walking him down. And then both my parents are walking me down.
I don't think there's anything wrong with your FH's mom walking you down, as long as you and him are both ok with it.

Re: Anyone's FH's mom walking them down the isle?
In Jewish weddings it is customary for both sets of parents to walk their children down the aisle. It shows that marriage is not just a union of two people, but two families. It also shows the culmination of the parents' good wishes for their childrens' futures. I happen to be Jewish, and this is what I am used to, but the feelings and sentiments behind the customs could be applicable and meaningful to ANY faith.

I was going to say the above. My FH's parents are walking them down..because it's traditional in our religion.
