Anyone's TA have a 'price guarantee' if the price goes down on your HM package?

Anyone's TA have a 'price guarantee' if the price goes down on your HM package?

Mine claimed that if it went down, she would match it if it was from a reputable source. The details were a bit fuzzy.

One of our resorts has gone down $244.

Do I immediately contact her? Or wait to see if the price goes down more?

Does anyone have a similar policy?

Yes, our TA told us that if fares went down or the Resorts started offering deals as the HM got closer she would be able to get those for us. She said that this was so we would not have to worry about booking early b/c we were hesitant thinking 'what if all of a sudden our resort decides with five nights you get two free and free breakfast each day?' or 'what if the airline tix are not selling that great and they decide to make them A LOT cheaper as time goes on?'. So, she said not to worry-- once we book our prices are locked in so that they cannot go up if for some reason things get more $$ and that also means that once we book she can get us in on any good deals that pop up along the way.

I believe it is pretty common-- all the TA I met with told me the same thing... but I was like you, I still thought 'wow, this seems too good to be true' lol understandable

Our TA told us the same....she keeps checking the prices and when it goes down, its cheaper for us.

Is it a one-time adjustment? Or could I call her every month and say 'ok prices went down'?

hmm, i wonder if it depends on your TA... you could ask yours about that but our lady told us that we could call if we found that the price went down or saw a specific deal that we wanted in on and/or she would check monthly-- and if I saw it first then i would just call her and let her know and if she saw it first she just keeps it on our file and whenever she talks to me next she lets me know. but basically it is on a 'case by case' basis-- meaning, as it happens I call her or she calls me, not all at once.

it happened once already-- one of our hotels added a 'sixth night free' deal that she was able to get us! yay! she called me the next day and just left me a message saying that is what happened
