Anytime you feel old..

Or wish you were 'young again'

Think about all the cr@p that comes along with it.

Today was my little sister's first day of 7th grade. She came home hysterical because she has no friends in her class or AT LUNCH (and we all know thats a big one).

I feel so bad for her. At the same time, I'm soooo glad those years are finished with!!

sometimes i do wish i was younger, but for this like that i definitely don't want to go back

aww well hopefully your sister will make friends w/someone at lunch..

i definitely agree, although there were some good times over the years, i'm definitely glad its over!

LOL. That just made me realize my first day of 7th grade was already 11 years ago.... my god that's a scary thought.

So true! Sometimes I miss being young but then I remember stuff like this and I'm glad I'm not!

As a matter of fact I think I spent my first day of 7th grade at lunch time sitting alone. Most of my friends either went to a different school or had a different lunch period then me. It was rather upsetting so I just began taking my lunch outside until it got cold.

but in contrary: my niece had her 1st day of pre-k 4 yesterday (full time) & she got to play with the kitchen set. so i was very jealous of her. lol

that was alway one of my biggest fears for the first day of school. but tell her not to worry because she will make new friends in her classes and lunch!

OMG 7th grade...that was about 12 years ago...wow time has gone by so fast when you think about it...

Remember how everything was the end of the world when you were in 7th grade...the world would stop turning if you didnt have friends with you all the time....

I feel so bad for my sister because I know exactly how she feels. When you dont have your friends at lunch with you - that IS the end of the world.

I'm SOOOOO happy NOT to be that position again!!

12? Oh god i really feel old. 7th grade was 21 years ago for me.....ow that hurts.

I'm so sorry to hear that about your sister. How crushing! I'm sure tomorrow will be better. The great thing about junior high is it doesn't last forever.......even though when you are there it feels like it does. Sending her lots of hugs.....I've been there and feeling like the outsider is horrible

Thats so sad! Poor girl. I think I ate lunch alone a few times too. I remember when my friends were fighting with me in 7th grade I didn't even want to go to school. No boys ever liked me in that grade either because I was so scrawny, boobless, and had horrible braces. FH was a late bloomer and former ugly duckling too. Remind her how she will laugh at those days and be planning her dream wedding before she knows it.

yesterday was my sister's first day in sixth grade i don't miss it at all what i do miss is my hs years because i didn't take advantage of them i was very shy and antisocial :( i only had at most 2 friends :(
