DH and I really want to get either a Siamese or Balinese. Does anyone have either one? Can you tell me about them? I'm doing research online but would love first hand experience with these breeds!

We have one, her name is Ellie. We adopted her from this organization through their Virginia Branch. They have many cats to choose. If there is one that you see and liked, they will be able to bring the cat to you, provided you pass all the organizations requirements... Ellie was rescued from Ohio, sent to Texas to one of their foster homes and brought her to CT by one of their volunteers by plane.
I had a cat that was part siamese....she was very vocal, very spiteful, and playful at times. She was also very loving and very attached to me

I have a Siamese cat and she is the sweetest, most affectionate cat ever! Sometimes people say that Siamese are 'snobby' and have bad attitudes, but I haven't seen that from her at all.
