APA format question... english teachers

My sis is writing a paper and citing a website. She can't find the author. But she IS citing the source... website, date found, etc... Is that OK?

I have no idea what APA format is, thanks!

Hm... most English Depts use MLA, which is super easy. I can't help you with APA, but here's a link to their webpage

No problem.

I'm used to MLA as well. I basically fake my way through APA when I have to use it in my Grad classes. My professors don't seem to mind.

Hi Jenn... I only know MLA as well. Since I teach a writing course I just checked the textbook.. Its not CLEAR at all!!

I would say maybe put Unknown as the author that way its not blank

I found it on the APA web - there was actually a FAQ question that was specific to her prob...

Thanks girls!!

(And APA is for the American Psychological Assoc - nothing to do with English like I originally thought.. Learn something new everyday!)
