all of you girls that live in complexes in nassau, where do you live? and can you share how expensive it is? fh and i are looking for an apartment complex hopefully one that will accept a small dog. thanks so much xo

I am living in Suffolk county in a complex but the management companies has many other properties with the prices on the website.
Homeproperties.com and I have a small dog and its fine. most allow pets the site will tell you.
Also I toured some fairfield properties and know most allow pets.

There is a complex in Massapequa....called Southpoint...
The rent is about 1400-2k, small dogs allowed but for a small cost....
They are pretty nice...if you google it, I think you can find it.....Almost down the block from where your RH is...

eek i checked that place out, a small tiny 1 bedroom is 1400, pet deposit was 350 (non refundable per pet) and on top of that, its 25 a month per pet. thats just absolutely ridiculous

Yeah i looked there to. I was not thrilled with it, I thought very small. When i looked then said the 1400 was for the non refurbished apartments and the refurbished were 1600, and nothing was included. Not even heat and hot water. I would even have to pay for sewage!

I hate to say that the complex's are going to be expencive. I just moved into an appartment in May so I was looking around. I just couldnt afford any i found. There might be some out there I missed though. I ended up with a bacement apartment (which works for me and FH its not for everyone i know) but we have so much more space than a compley could offer,

We live in a pretty known complex in Suffolk, but there are quite a few in Nassau (Glen Cove and Long Beach are two of them) We live in a two bedroom/two full bathroom with a loft, washer and dryer and pay 2400.00 a month. Completely outragious but it also includes a pool and gym. I don't want to even think how much money I've put into the complex....

We live in suffolks, but in a chain called Heatherwood. A two bedroom run 1600 around here, but its nice and things are in good shape. And mantenience comes super fast if you need something fixed.
