So we have began a hunt for an apartment in Sulffok county somewhere between hauppauge and medford and anywhere inbetween. We have both always lived at home except for my college apartment which really dosen't count. Does anyone have advice or suggestions of what to ask or what to look for? If you could recommend or have opionons about a complex please let me know. Any little thoughts will help at this point.

Go to apartments.com, rent.com and see what they have. it all depends upon your budget.
Most complexes in the area you are looking in and owned by fairfield ...
there is avalon commons in smithtown ... but the avalon properties are really expensive.
try using those site listed above, and good luck to you!!
By the way ... don't be afraid to look at apartments on craigslist. I found a duplex that is on the side of my landlords house that we have been in for over a year and we LOVE!! There are a lot of great legal apartments out there! Do be afraid to look!
