Apartment Help!!

Well, DH and I got home from our honeymoon on Friday and were informed we need to find a new place to live. It is a loong story, but our landlord is a very old man and all the houses he owned and rented out were seized by the state and so we now need to find a new place. We wish we could buy a house but I have to get a better job before we can afford a mortgage. Anyway, we are looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment that allows our 2 kitties and smoking. We will move anywhere in nassau or suffolk ( not too far out on the island). So if anyone hears or knows of any apartments please FM me. We are looking to spend about $1000 a month ( I know that is very low and probably impossible to find a place, but thats all we have right now). Thank you!!!

Well Jaime if you are interested in the assylum that I live in they have apartments here that offer that but I have to warn you it is hell!
