Apartment Hunting
Wish me luck girls. Tomorrow FH and I are looking at an apartment. Of all the fights we have had regarding the wedding, this has been the main issue.
I've been the one looking for the apartments and I've been looking within our budget. The first apartment we saw was cute and we really wanted it, but it fell through. The second was a first floor apartment that the owner split so all we had was a very large kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom. The price was good, but I wasn't thrilled because we needed a living room. Besides, with the apartment split, I didn't want to hear the other people on the other side of the wall.
Every ad that I saw that was within our price range, he had a problem with. If it was a basement apartment, he would say 'do you really want to live in a basement?' Just very condisending.
I've mostly been looking on Craigslist because its updated all the time, not like the newspapers, but I've looked in them as well. Of course his mother has to put her 2 cents in saying that you shouldn't just look on the internet. DUHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I know that!!!!!!!!
Well the apartment that we are looking at tomorrow, is in a great spot because its near everything. Even a laudremat is on the corner of the block. I even told FH that his favorite pizza place is right across the street.
I'm just totally stressed with this. FH is in the Army and supposed to get out of the Army next week, but he still hasn't received his discharge papers. On top of that he has to look for a job which he's been applying for various jobs on the net.
I just have a feeling that after the wedding, I'll be living at home with my parents and he'll do the same, or we'll live in a cardboard box
Wish me luck girls, god knows I need it!
