So right now FH and I don't live together but we've begun apartment hunting because I don't want to go crazy moving in too close to the wedding.
Hunting for an apartment has made me think about the wedding budget and now I'm slightly freaking out. I'm tempted to call CHCC and see if I can change my wedding date to a colder month to save money but idk if they'll let me do it. Ugh. lol

they may....getting someone to book both sooner and in a colder month means they still have a chance of re-booking your date while making money on you on another, possibly unbooked date....try it....

Its worth a shot to call....but might be a pain in the butt if you have already booked other vendors.

Yeah I just emailed my BM at CHCC. Luckily most of my vendors are friends and business connections (I'm a party planner on the side) so the only non friend is the videographer.
Last night I was a lot worse then I am now so maybe I'll get better as the day goes on.

yeah honestly i've heard of girls doing it before because of unexpected pregnancies and stuff. so it's totally possible!

Where are you looking for an apartment. Take a deep breathe. Figure put what everything is going to cost. See if you think you can handle it. If not you are better off tryong to move the date now to a cheaper date

I would take a deep breath, if you want to change your date.. awesome you 'll be getting married sooner but when I first moved into my house with FH I was totally shell shocked at the cost and went into total panic mode and wanted to push the wedding off.. but once I sat down and made a budget plan with FH I saw that it could and would work out.

Relax and take a deep breath! .. it wouldn't hurt to call and ask if there is anything available for Jan-March. You never know .. a lot of ppl don't get married during that time b/c its super cold and then we have those winter snowstorms. Others don't care as long as they save $$. The good thing is that you have over a year until your wedding so you still have time to move things if you realize its very necessary.
