Apartment Living. Oi.
So yea, I live at L.G. Apartments ( I can't use the name, god forbid it's looked up) and it's OK...it's not the greatest, and I really think it's the building I live in.
For months now, we have been hearing constant banging and screaming from the apartment above my across the hall neighbor. Yea, I can hear EVERYTHING and the banging was so bad it's knocked a frame off my well.
The new people that live directly above us, I believe I mentioned that they like to get busy (I know because there box spring squeaks in a certain rhythm and it's easy to guess, lol). but FH & I met them, and that's the only noise we hear from them, and what are we gonna say? stop having sex? no. that's awkward.
But we recently got to know our across the hall neighbor, and she gets the worst of whatever these people are doing above her. She calls the cops all the time on them. I've only ever called the cops once and that was not for this problem. i try not to bother them for something they really have no control over. they kept telling me and the other woman to call the landlord (which we've done).
well, I got a phone call from the landlord today asking me a few questions, and we were told that the people we are complaining about are saying we're the ones making noise.
i'm gonna flip. FH & I are like MICE, you don't know if we're home, even with the cats. but i was calm, chuckled and said to the landlord well, I mean, it's 2 against one, and I can't see how they could hear US, and I said I don't here the woman across from me, and it's loud enough that I know it's coming from across the hall ABOVE my neighbor, I went up the stairs one night and poked around and i heard the noise outside there door.
i want a house. NOW.![]()
