Apartment w/ Yard? Anyone?

BF and I are looking for a 1 br apt. in Eastern Nassau/Western Suffolk for about 1k. BF is really set on a yard/terrace/patio, however. Does anyone know of any available or resources? I've done all the online things (apts.com, rentnet.com, sublet.com, craigslist, etc.)

Thanks!!!!!!!

Thanks Peg...I guess we'll look for the pennysavers this weekend. We're in Queens now, however.

Does anyone know if any of the town pennysavers are online?

TIA

well I currently live in a townhouse that we rent - its a large 1-br. its has two floors, washer and dryer, eik, lr, and 1 1/2 bath rooms and a basement - there is a yard you share it with two other households and to be honest no one ever uses it - we were the only ones there who planted and used the area - the only down fall is $$ - I pay $1550.00 plus everything - but for what other places were going fo it was well worth it - Its only 3-yrs old... I just bought a house and will be leaving hopefully if closing goes well 5/1/05 - if your interested FM me....

Good luck either way....

Christine,

Hi, thanks for your post re: apt. It sounds AWESOME. I definitely would have to talk to bf/FH, re: price, but wow!!! May too would be great. I have to work in Manhattan until June, so although I'd love to live w/ Ray sooner, it's probably more feasible to wait..

Can you tell me what area it is in? On top of the 1550, what are the extras? heat/electric/hot water? Can you give me an approximate as to how much those cost--ballpark.

Thanks so much.

Cindy

OOPS, I totally thought I was FMing you here....

Feel free to FM me the answers.
