Apartments!

Does anyone know of or live in an apartment complex they would reccomend. FH and I are starting to look to get an idea of prices and stuff. We dont plan on moving until January at the earliest. But just want to get an idea. If you have websites that would be awesome also. TIA!!!

Fairfield has tons of apartments all over LI. My FH lives in one of their complexes, and it;s nice.

umm.....right now kind of all over. once i get a teaching job (hopefully) i will have an idea. ideally soemwhere in nassau b/c FH fam is in Brooklyn and mine is in babylon so its in the middle.

I live in the Fairfield Hills South Complex in Farmingville though... not sure if you would want to go out there! But it is GORGEOUS! where i live.. all townhouses and we have a garage and it's only 2 years old!! It's HUGE inside! This is a pic.. I think they may have ones further out to nassau.

wow thats really nice. we saw nice ones in bayport that were really nice like that and the complex had like 4 heated pools club house and a bunch of other stuff and it was only like 1500 for one bedroom. i didnt think that was bad. but there is no way we could get something like that in nassau.....that is why i will be happy when i know where i will be teaching. bc if i get a job out there i wouldnt mind.

Yeah.. Suffolk is a lot less too. If you decide you want to look at them let me know... I'll give them a heads up for you.. it's less then 5 minutes from the LIE too! Which I love because I work in Melville!!

we have a door man, a pool and our own beach

I have a Jr 4 which is a HUGE 1 bedroom for $1700

but the regular one bedrooms start at $1400 - I think

it's called executive towers
