Does anyone have any names of apartments complexes on Long Island that they would recommend. I do not want to live in an apt within a house. I am looking for a nice 2 bedroom apt in a complex, upper unit.
From Smithtown to Bethpage.

We had looked at the Avalon apartments in Melville. It seemed like a nice complex. They have a washer and dryer in the unit. There's a fitness center and a pool. We decided to go elsewhere, though.

Shoot, I forget what they are called but they are in Hauppauge and are very nice! My friend lives in them...they are pet friendly too!

I lived here, these apartments are very nice...not cheap though. I think I was paying $1750 for my 1br.

I love my complex! Harbour Club in West Babylon. You have the option with the 2 bedrooms of having a stackable washer/dryer in the kitchen. If not, there are laundry rooms on the premises.
Big plus for me - there's a swimming pool! Love it.
It's not cheap though - one bedrooms are about $1700
