Is there anyone else out there feeling apathetic with wedding planning? We have already done lots of stuff, but as we were picking out our invites this past weekend I felt like I just didn't really care too much anymore. Our caterer wants us to come in for a tasting next weekend and you think I would be excited but I also really don't care. I think I have just become really bored with planning already. FH asked me this weekend what I would do about planning if he wasn't so involved, and my honest answer was 'I would have just hired a planner, told them my budget and said see you at the wedding.'
Can anyone relate?

I feel the same way b/c I did everything early and now its a waiting game and I'm not caring about the other stuff as much as I thought I would....I'm like all well....whatever.
I think its a phase though...

I have days where I'm all for wedding planning and days where I'm like....ugh I wish it would all be over, I just don't care about the little things.
I think it's normal after spending so much time and energy on everything you just get tired and want to move on...you're not alone

I'm over the wedding. I'm ready for that day. Thats it.
I'm already into house-hunting and planning a move 13 days after the wedding!!!

I am like this too. At this point, I am like 'Okay girls, lets pick a freakin' bridesmaids' dress already.' Like I don't care. I just want the wedding to arrive so I can get hammered and dance. Oh, and the Honeymoon. Yes, I want the honeymoon to be here already!

hahah - I love the part about the dress. I did the same thing. I was like I'd like it to be long and either black or hunter green. Get whatever -
OMG we are almost there though. I realized I'm about 5 months away. Thats madness.
I'm more concerned about what good songs Frank from FM might surprise me with....

I feel the same way! I'm at a total stand still with everything! I think it's partly because I'm not crazy about my dress as I thought I was. I just feel like I need to push myself to do some planning.

Same here! I think he'll be awesome- just like he was at our showcase! God it was too early for that pumping music.

o thank God im not the only person who feels this way!!! there are nights when i sit on my laptop for like 3 hours looking things up and times when i just want to jump off a building! it really does get to be too much sometimes. i guess all we can do is plan the best we can and you know that it is going to be beautiful no mattter what because it will be our day!

some things lately have been making me wonder why we didnt just elope - im getting antsy and things are just not happening as expected - lots of surprises and unexpected things have been upsetting me - my fh and i both hate the wedding right now

i have def not been in Planning Mode as i was when we first got engaged the 1st time...i keep telling FH after the church is over, i could care less what happens...the church is for me and FH the reception is just for everyone else...
