I'm going tomorrow to Maskers. Has anyone been there before? I hope it's not too crowded. I havent gone apple picking since I was a kid with my parents so I'm really looking forward to it. I love the fall I can't wait to go pumpkin picking too

that's upstate right? I think we used to go there when i was a kid and I dont remember it being insanely crowded.
I go out on the island every year and it's always fine..even though last year this kid threw an apple at me!
haha..his mom was horrified and his dad grabbed him and held him in front of me and said, ok...go for it!
he was like 3.

I need some recipes to use for all the apples FH is prob going to pick way too many apples.
I want to go to colonial springs for pumpkin picking maybe in 2 weeks.

I love Masker Orchards!! I haven't been there in a few years though. Such a great day trip. I would pack a nice lunch for your FH and yourself.
It can get busy on the weekends. When I last went, we left LI around 8am and then departed the orchards around 2pm. It is usually busiest around 12 or 1pm.

hahah no! seriously it was so funny. that mother was so embarrassed and the dad jumped in and diffused the situation. I wasn't mad at the kid. he was 3. lol

Ahh you just reminded me that I want to take my pup. I had called the other day to ask but they were closed. I just called this place and they said yes as long as the dog is friendly and you clean up after them.
