Appointments with photographers

Hi,

Im looking to meet with several photographers on the same day to try and narrow down my search (and try to tick something else off my list)

I only have the one day available so trying to fit as many in as possible. How long should I factor in for each appointment? Based on your experience would an hour be ok????

I have no idea what to expect - so any help would be appreciated

I would schedule at least an hour and a half in case the appointment before you runs over- This only happend to us once but we had to wait about 20 minutes.

I would say anywhere from half an hour to an hour for a photography appt. I'd go closer to the hour though.

I'd say 1-1 1/2 hours, but also don't forget to factor in traveling time between photographers.

i think an hour is prob enough, you'll prob know within the 1st 1/2 hour if you like them and want to review everything. if you do great, if not, you can try to end it early and show up at the next place a little early? even if it isn't your appt time yet, they'll probably set you up with some books to look at first so you can get a headstart.

I would def say expect each appointment to be between 1 - 1 1/2 hours. It depends on the photog.

FH and I did this two weeks ago. We met with 5 photographers--our first appointment was at 11 and our last was at 7:30. It was a looooooong day. We probably spent about an hour to an hour and a half with each photographer, but don't forget to budget travel and eating/talking time. We didn't really do that and had to try to sort it all out for ourselves in the car. It was definitely a crazy day, but I liked doing it all at once so I could more easily compare the 'feeling' each one gave me.
