i dont know the exact price...but we just booked our whole HM and i think the flights were between 1200-1500 a person....not 100% though....

call a travel agent...they can def help you with that.

we are flying from ny directly to tahiti

we paid 1100 a person.

look it up on expedia.

we ended up getting a better rate on expedia than what was offered by the ta!

we flew on Monday July 3 straight to Tahiti via air tahiti nui

and arrived back to JFK on Friday July 14 via same airline!!

12.5 hours direct!

Our travel agent told us it was cheaper to fly to LA first, it also breaks up the flight.

i would not recommend that though unless u are going to stay in la over night it is not worth it, regardless of price.

if you break it up, you will not be served a meal, you will be seated in a regular seat rather than the ones they give you on air tahiti- they are bigger on air tahiti.

and it will take longer to get to tahiti!!!!

Go direct, don't break it up! It was great getting off the plane and knowing we were at our final destination... I would have hated getting off a 6 hr flight to LA and knowing we still have another 7 hours, PLUS the layover! The flight is long (12 hrs) but worth it.
