It depends where you order them from. I'm having mine custom made so I already ordered them. You probably want to send them out about 2 months before (FEb) and give yourself enough time to address & assemble them. I think if you order standard invitations they only take about 2 weeks to come in.
I just ordered mine on Friday. I read somewhere they should be ordered 4 to 6 months in advance. Mine are custom, taking about 3 weeks. I figured by the time I have them addressed, put them together etc., it will be mid Feb!
I am looking at invites now...I will order as soon as FH and I can agree on one!!!!
I picked them out this weekend and plan on ordering them this week - they told me I was FINE as long as I ordered them within the month. (They said I will get them in plenty of time to get the caligraphy done)
We picked them out just have to order them. I think we're going to mail them inFeb. Does anyone know a good calligrapher? Or a person who prints them on the computer?
We ordered ours mid-October, only because we didn't know how long it would take to come. We had them 2 weeks before Halloween. We will address them, and send them out mid January. We have a 'B-list' guest list and need to see how many 'NO' responses we get so we know if we can invite a few more people. LOL. Sad, isn't it?
