My mother talkin about april is a cold and rainy month to get married!!!!.....why did yall pick that month and what are your alternatives in case if it does rain?
i dont think its all that bad. I picked april bc the flowers all start to bloom and they look amazing and april/may is one of my favorite times of year. If it rains i dont know what i will do... pray!!! haha
I actually picked April because I love the Spring, the weather isn't too hot and the flowers are blooming and the colors are so soft. And out of the Spring months, April is the cheapest. As far as the rain, it actually rains a lot more in May now a days then it does in April. The seasons are so off now a days.

The date has sentimental reasons for me. But the weather can go either way whatever season you pick.
I think rain is better than snow
We orginally picked May , but was told April was cheaper so we went w/the last Friday of the month b/c we both love May. I don't think it's gong to rain on my wedding day I am very optimistic. If it does I don't think it will rain all day. My ceremony is @ a church @ about 2pm and my cocktail is @ 8:30pm.
We picked April bc we originally wanted to get married in October of 08 but my mom asked us if we could push it back so we decieded April would be good. I'm really not worried about the rain..it's all beautiful. And I wouldn't be able to deal with the heat on my wedding day so i'm happy it's cooler in April

I picked april because I am a teacher and I wanted to take my honeymoon when I got married and I didn't want to wait till summer (plus FH thinks the summer is too hot for him) so April it was.
I picked April cause i love thr spring flowers (tulips and daffodils). I pray it doesn't rain. But I am thinking of going with a photographer that may work with me on a day after shoot in case it rains...
