OH MY GOD GIRLS--- YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I JUST WENT THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hired Christine from the Perfect Look to do my makeup the day of my wedding. I won a gift cert. at the LIW GTG on the boat this past summer. Anyway, she was saying that she could do my bridesmaids too AND she had a girl that would come to my house and do their hair. So I saw the pictures of the hairdressers work and I had Christine book her. Well I just heard from Christine this morning all distraut...THE HAIRDRESSER WAS KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT!!!!!! This poor girl was on vacation and was killed. Unfortunately no one let Christine know, and she only found out this morning after calling and calling the hairdresser on her cell, leaving a million messages. The hairdressers cousin answered the phone and told her the news. Christine freaked. She called every hairdresser she knew to come and do my girls, but no one could do it. My salon is booked solid, so I had FMIL call her salon and God Bless them, they are closing the salon on Saturday morning to accomodate us. They cancelled all their appointments! I can't believe how generous they are!!!!
Whew. I'm glad it's resolved, but I just can't believe that this poor girl is gone.

I'm leaving early today for my final fitting! I'll talk to you guys tomorrow!!!!!

Ok girls....tomorrow is my last day at work, and I don't know if I will get a chance to get back onto the boards on Thursday and Friday. So....I wish everyone a fabulous weekend!!!! The weather is supposed to be beautiful!!! Good luck to everyone, and when you come back, please post a link to your review and pics on this thread (because I subscribe to it, I won't miss anything).

Also...when we all get back, we are going to plan some sort of GTG at Cheryl's house (now that they're almost done renovating ).

OMG God Cheryl.....you must have been freaking out! I am so sorry to hear about the girl, that is very sad. I will say a little prayer for her family. On the other hand, I am glad that you found someone at the last minute to do the girls. That was very, very nice of that salon! Well, don't worry about it, I am sure thay will all look beautiful.

I am in for the GTG!! Can't wait until we all get back to share pics

Jennifer- we have everything booked!
We booked on Maui: the luau- Old Lahaniani, the Hawaiian Cirque du Soliel- Ulalena, the magic show-Warren & Annabelle's, and a day trip on a sailboat to Lanai-Trilogy.
On Kauai we booked the waterfall dunebuggy tour. We booked everything through a Hawaiian travel agent that was reccommended to us. He gave us some great discounts!

If you didn't book the luau- def. do that this week!!!

Did you book this stuff with a hawaiian travel board? I got a website from here a year ago but didn't use them to book the trip. I'm thinking of calling them again to book the extra cirricular stuff.

Hey guys- thanks for all your support. My poor makeup girl is still in complete shock. But thank goodness for FMIL and her terrific friends! I'm forever going to go to that salon!

Mary, I'll FM you the info on the guy we used to book our stuff in Hawaii. He was terrific.

I'll be at Old Westbury too!! I'll get there around 4:30 though.

Does anyone else have this FEAR in them that they are going to forget something very important? I'm so scared!

Hello girls.............I am back from my honeymoon too! I can't believe the whole thing is over, it went by so quickly. we just got home, so I will have pics and my review in a day of so! Talk to you then. Can't wait to hear about everyone else's day.
