How is the weather at the end of April beginning of May?
Also do you think it will be less money for a wedding memorial weekend that sunday?

Re: April/May
You may be able to get a good deal on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, I did. My deal is not as good as a non holiday weekend, but a little less expensive is always a good thing.

Re: April/May
I orginally wanted Memorial Day weekend, but many places are booked already, and that was a year ago!
We ended up going with a Sunday in late April. The price was much better than a Sunday in May.
April weather is very nice, but can be either way a little chilly or warm. It would kind of risky doing an outdoor ceremony. Have a back up plan!

I hope the weather is nice. . I'm April 29th and it could be a hit or miss. You never know with Mother Nature
As far as the pricing goes for Holiday weekends. . I'm not to sure how the price differs from an ordinary Saturday or Sunday wedding.

yes the weather will be beautiful. And I agree, May is one of the most expensive months, and usually the night before a holiday costs the same as a Sat. night.

Re: April/May
my parents were married middle of april and they had a beautiful warm day. Or so i've been told I wasn't around yet. But my FH's cousin was born during a freak snowstorm in April so it can go either way. I am braving the freak snow storms and hoping April will be a good for me like it was for my parents.

Re: April/May
I'm getting married Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend. We are spending about $30 less a head than an average Saturday night. We are spending about $15 less a head than a Sunday evening. We are having an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour in the afternoon. Last year on our wedding day it was 62 degrees and sunny. This year on our wedding day it was 74 degrees and sunny. (We are insane and kept a record bc we were nervous about it being too cold). I hope that answers any questions. FM me if you want to know anything else. This was a huge concern of ours as well.

Re: April/May
We are getting a better deal Memorial Day Weekend because we are getting married Sunday at 11:30 a.m. with the reception to follow. This was cheaper than Saturday night the same weekend. The weather should be good during that time of year; I am not worried.

Re: April/May
Pretty much all places will be booked for Sunday of memorial day. I booked over 6 months ago and couldnt get it. Also a lot of places were jacking up Sunday prices cause Monday is a Holiday.
Apil will probably be cheaper. Most of the places I looked at raised their price the first week in May.

Re: April/May
You know, the weather is funny. This year April was warmer and sunnier than this May. In May it rained a lot and we had many cold days.
Some places will cut you a deal for memorial day weekend. It used to be unpopular but now it seems to be a very popular weekend.
I'm getting married April 14th and I know it's going to be sunny out. Very cool but sunny. I just know!
