So my landlord is trying to sell my apartment. She's been doing this for years, so we're not nervous + we're planning on moving in a month or two (we pay month to month)
Anyway, she just put up a listing on a real estate site that lists our apt building AND apt number. I'm so pissed! Now, I'm scared that crazies are going to be knocking on the door.

Wow. That's not cool. Does she own the whole building? Why would she list your # specifically? Are you ground level and is there a common entrance (with a lock preferrably)? She doesn't plan on showing it without your knowledge, does she? (Too many questions?)
Find out why and see if you can have her change the listing.

i have been looking at apts to buy and most of them list the apt #...and not once have i though to ring a bell. LOL. usually you need to go through a RE agent anyway

I would have her take it done ASAP, if not tell her is someone knoks you will tell them its not for sale

yes, thankfully you have to buzz to get in, but there's no doorman, so that worries me. she's also gone into our apt before, and forgotten to lock the door!
oh, and she's also crazy. when we signed the lease back in the day, she gave me a pamphlet about mail order crosses. umm.. ok?

well i wouldn't worry too much about it, like a previous person said, most of the time they're with a real estate agent.

Lisa! I live in the West Village! And we are moving in March- but would love to move sooner! (b/c FH works on LI and the commute is killing him). If you want to come look at my place (its a 2 bedroom) let me know! Even if you don't, I know the area soooooo well and know prices and stuff and there may even be some others open in my building.
