When I tried on my sample they gave me a slip that is made out of a different material. I think crinolin is too puffy and hot.
The bridal place wants $70.00 for the same slip. I looked on eBay and they have great prices, but all crinolin. Any suggestions?

hmmm....I've never heard of any other type of slip. But I do know you can get a crinolin slip that isn't poofy. Like there are slips with different amounts of poofyness...does that make sense?

I've seen some made out of polyester and tulle... but I can't remember where. I thought it was on ebay...

then there's the REALLY old-school hoop slips...
That would not be heavy or hot, but it likely would also be too poofy for you....
(don't remember where I saw them for sale...)

I had the BEST slip of all time! And I ordered it off of ebay for about $30. It was a hoop slip with the crinoline on the OUTSIDE of the slip... so nothing touched my legs at all. The crinoline can be very itchy and I had my own room in there! Go to Ebay and type in 'Hoop Wedding Slip' and you'll see what I mean... it was wonderful!
