yes- barefoot i am 5'6' or a little over and fh is barely 5'9' with heels I am definitely taller

My FH is about 2-3 inches taller so i got shoes with a 1/4 inch heel.

I'm 5'7' and he's 5'9' and I wore 2 inch heels. He thinks he's 5'10' With my hair up I was a little taller than him but it really didn't matter. The photog took great care to photograph us so we were the same height. Really good with the angles.

FH is the same height as me - until I put shoes on. I am going to try nothing higher that 2 inches

I guess it all depends on what shoe would make you feel most comfortable. If you think your feet can stand to be in a 3-4 inch heel for a good portion of the day, then I'd say the higher the better! (I used to love high heels before I met FH)
