Hey There - Just curious if anyone is just going with a simple bun with no hairpins, no head piece, no tiara, etc. I was considering doing this and my hair stylist told me she thought I should have something...What do you think?? I am going to wear a veil during the ceremony, but will take it off at the reception. I am wearing big chandellier earrings as well, so it's not like I won't have anything, but just curious if any other brides are doing this...Any feedback would be great!! If I wear anything, it will likely be a simple hair pin at the base of my bun on one side...Thanks
Here is a picture of my hairstyle...I am probably going to change the front to a slightly off center side part, but otherwise, similar to this...

I wore mine similarly. I had a veil for the ceremony, but took it off for the reception. There are pics in my album if you want to see.

No tiara or hairpiece for me. Just little hair pins within my hair. hair pins are really really small crystal flowers and pearl.

why not try a small flower on the side of the bun or something.. that could be subtle and romantic

i didnt wear anything... but i did keep my veil on all night...

Im wearing my hair pretty similar....veil only for the ceremony and just 2 small hair pins on one side--very simple. i think its fine if you wear your hair like that without pins/tiara etc....it looks beautiful!! Especially because you have the bigger earrings....i think it will look so elegant!! also, did you check out Preshys review?? she had her hair pretty similar.

I had a Gardenia in my hair, and my hair was done VERY similarly to yours. I also took my veil off after the ceremony.
i can tell you i got MANY compliments on the flower, it looks really elegant. I can't take full credit though as i copied the look from another bride (not on here).
