we invited the parents of a lot of friends... but only because im super close with them... some parents didnt get invited.

yes...we invited the parents of two of my friends who are bridesmaids. i have known them forever and we are close. one is my mom's best friend.
we also invited two of the groomsmen parents. Dino has known them for a long time, and I am even close to one of the mothers.

All my bm's parents will be there one is my cousin so my autn will be there sil's are my mom and fmil and my three friends I invited two sets of parents and my childhood friends entire family is invited. GM are a different story we invited 1 GM's parents and one of fh's friends parents that its for him.

Well I sent a STD to my MOH when she was still living at home with her parents. They called me up thanking me for thinking of them and they were SO excited to go to the wedding that I didn't have the heart to tell them the STD was for MOH. But they've always been SO good to me and I've been very close with the family for a good 10 years now. I went to her sister's wedding, her father's 60th birthday, etc.
Unfortunately her father had a brain aneurism about 2 months before the wedding so they were unable to attend.

only one set of parents, but there parents grew up with my parents, that's how my and my friend know each other.

we have a few parents invited, but we only invited them because they were FIL's friends and they 'forced' us to invite them ... otherwise, we wouldn't have. we're not friendly with any of the parents of our friends.

We invited the parents of those members of the BP who we have known since elementary school. We felt that was the best way to handle it.

my moh's mother, grandmother, aunt, uncle, other uncle, 2 sisters and 2 cousins are invited.... but i've been part of their family for 20+ years.

we invited 1 bms parents and 1 gms parents... but they were childhood friends so we were actually close to and knew their parents!

Only parents invited are one couple because FH's parents are friends with them and they're like family to FH.

This will happen with probably half of our BP.
I had a friend who thought it was proper to invite the parents of the entire BP (even if she barely knew them ), but I was in the BP and my parents didn't want to go, they barely knew the bride and didn't care for her or her DH anyway! So, I convinced my friend that this wasn't necessary.

I invited my BMs parents but not the GMs parents because I know all of their parents well and FH doesn't know his GMs parents AT ALL!
