I tried on my dress w my shoes earrings n veil. I want to wear my grandmas necklace but I feel it doesn't look right. I tried wo a necklace n bc my dress line is kinda high, I feel I can get away wo wearing one but idk! I have her pearl bracelet I could wear. Confused!!

I think it depends on what your dress looks like and what you are comfortable with my dress has alot of lace and beading around the top so I went for a very simple necklace. But I don't think it looks bad not to wear a necklace if you are wearing other accessories. You don't want to have anything take away from anything else

I am NOT wearing a necklace either... My attendant at Manhasset Bridal Salon and Thomas Knoell who designed/made my jewelry both recommended not wearing one with the style of my dress... I think it depends on the style of your dress and what YOU want.....

I'm not wearing one...my dress has a beautiful design on top so I don't want to overdo it I'm just doing bracelet and earrings. It does depend on your dress tho

I have pics of my DOJ and headpiece in my album and I think it would be too much to wear w/ my gown. My gown is a sweetheart neckline with a bodice that is completely covered in crystals - don't want to be over the top so I'll going without

I'm not wearing a necklace. I'm actually pinning the necklace my grandma wore under my dress as my something old.
I'm wearing earrings and a bling bling bracelet. It depends on your dress. (like everyone says)

i wasn't going to wear a necklace but then I saw pictures with and wo it and chose with...where did you get your dress from? I went to davids bridal and on their site you can see reviews and girls post their wedding photos in the dress so you can get an idea.

Not wearing a necklace! My dress is very detailed with beading, I'm wearing a tiara, earrings and a bracelet.

I'm not doing a necklace, either.
My headpiece, earings, and bracelet are all SO beautiful that a necklace is totally unnecessary.
Not to mention that the neckline of my dress is TO DIE FOR, so I wouldn't want to detract from that.
I'm a firm believer that there is such a thing as 'too much' when it comes to bling...everything in (some form of) moderation.

I'm not! I have an all lace dress, chandelier earrings and a birdcage veil. I think a necklace would be too much.
It just depends on your dress and what else you are wearing!

I will not be wearing a necklace. My bracelet, earrings, head piece and dress will be more than enough. I HATE when brides weigh themselves down with accessories just to add more bling. Sometimes it has the reverse effect and it doesn't look nice when you have too much. You just have to judge on where to draw the line for yourself as everyone is different

I did not wear a necklace. With all the detail on my dress (especially on the top part) I felt a necklace would just be too much. DH bought me a beautiful pearl and swarovski bracelet for the day of and FIL's bought me the matching earrings. I think it was just enough jewelry for me the day of.

i was going to wear one but when i brought all the pieces to the fitting, i realized that it was unnecessary and i already had the right amt of jewelry on.
